FCCLA Region VI Meeting: Keynote & Workshops

  • Marion High School 100 Cedar Avenue Marion, SD 57043 (map)

KEYNOTE: RUN TO THE ROAR

What would you do if you weren't afraid? In this keynote, Leadership Coach, Molly Christianson, uses examples in nature to inspire listeners to overcome their greatest fears and identify simple actionable steps towards becoming the person they want to be, doing the things they want to do, and having the things they desire. Audience members will leave feeling Empowered as they stand in 3 beliefs that will carry them through their own personal journey to success.

WORKSHOP #1: DREAMs to DO!

In this reflective workshop, participants will Dream BIG about the new year, Reflect on the past year, Expand on their growth, Acknowledge their progress, and Make a plan to create even more success in 2022! Participants will courageously look in the mirror to identify what works and what needs to change in order to be their best selves, live their best lives, all while doing their best work.

WORKSHOP #2: Empowered To Be Me!

With so many outside pressures and social media influences, it is easy to lose ourselves and think we are less. During this special workshop created strictly for girls, attendees will take time to reflect on their unique qualities, who they aspire to be, and the amazing girl they are. Girls will also have the opportunity to discuss barriers that keep them from being their best selves and what they need to break down those barriers so they can accomplish their goals. Empowered To Be Me participants will be given materials to create an artistic reminder of this workshop at home.
